We understand that getting your items quickly is important to you, so we make every effort to process your order as soon as possible.
As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via email. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.
If your order is stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within five business days from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. We provide ground shipping to the lower 48 states. Orders to AK & HI are shipped by AIR at additional cost. You may contact as at firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain rates for those shipments.
Shipping to the lower 48 states usually takes between 3 to 5 business days but you should allow 3 to 10 business days depending on the carrier we use (FedEx, UPS and/or USPS) and delivery location.
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to email@example.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.
Cancellations & Refunds:
All orders canceled after 24 hours are subject to up to a 20% administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped. If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.
You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund of product cost (minus shipping). Because the nature of our items can sometimes take a little bit to process, we always start return eligibility from the date of delivery. If the error is due to Coastal Cruiser we will likely cover the cost of the return shipping.
Merchandise must be in unused condition, with all parts that came with the order and original packaging for a full refund.
Before a return is sent, the customer must have written approval of said return from Coastal Cruiser. If a customer sends a return without the written consent of Coastal Cruiser, a refund will not be issued and the customer will have to pay shipping to get the item returned, or, sacrifice the item.
Approved returns have their choice of store credit, exchange, or refund, subject to written approval.
Please note return processing can take on average anywhere from 10-30 days upon delivery back to us. Most times return refunds are processed way faster than that.
Items that have been physically damaged, or show signs of use and wear may be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
Refunds are issued to the original form of payment. If we cannot issue a refund to the original form of payment, we can gladly offer store credit or an exchange.
Misused or improperly cared for items (such as being left out in the elements, or signs of abuse) are not eligible for a refund.
Refused Items: If it's the fault of Coastal Cruiser, you will be fully credited and our items will be reshipped at our expense.
NOTE: ALL RETURN HAS TO CAME WITH THE ORIGINAL BOX. DESPITE OF ANY DAMAGE TO THE BOX. THE CUSTOMER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY EXTRA FEE OR WRAPPING FEE IS THE ORIGINAL BOX IS LOST OR THROWN AWAY.
At Coastal Cruiser Bikes, we take great pride in the quality and durability of our products. We’re confident that you will be impressed as well, and we stand behind all of our products. Every bike we sell is covered by a limited warranty against Manufacturer Defects, subject to exclusions noted herein. This warranty is only valid in the United States.
Subject to certain limitations, new products purchased directly from Coastal Cruiser or Authorized Dealer (“Products”) are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship (“Manufacturer Defects”) for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase or delivery date, or 1000 Miles - whichever is first (“Warranty Period”). Replacement parts used in warranty repairs will be warranted for the balance of the applicable Warranty Period.
This warranty is not transferable in any way and may not be exercised by anyone other than the original retail buyer (“Customer”) of the Products. Customers will be required to furnish the original receipt of purchase when filing a claim under this warranty.
As part of its New Bike Guarantee, Coastal Cruiser will provide full replacement of any defective parts/components with free shipping within the first 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, the Customer is responsible for all return shipment costs to Coastal Cruiser. This warranty applies only to Products, parts, and components manufactured, assembled, and sold as new by Coastal Cruiser. The following components are covered under this warranty against Manufacturer Defects:
SHIPPING DAMAGE CLAIMS
Upon receipt, the Customer should immediately inspect Products for damage. Freight damage claims can be extremely time sensitive, and therefore, Coastal Cruiser will not accept freight damage claims later than 7 days from Customer’s receipt of the Product. The Customer should note any damage to the Products on the Bill of Lading before the shipment is accepted. The Customer should also document any damage with photographs, and date the images whenever possible. Furthermore, the Customer should keep all packaging and paperwork until the inspection process is complete.
Damage claims must be reported to Coastal Cruiser within 7 days of delivery. Please contact the Customer Support team for return/replacement instructions by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
WHAT’S NOT COVERED
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of the Products. Furthermore, this warranty will not cover any damage resulting from the abuse or neglect of the Products. Examples of abuse and neglect include, but are not limited to:
Racing or competition use, modification of original parts, abnormal strain.
Lack of proper maintenance, installation of parts or accessories that are not equivalent in design and quality to genuine Coastal Cruiser parts (“Incompatible Parts”)
Use of lubricants that are not suitable for e-bike use.
Damage as a result of accidents, collisions, road hazards, or operation on surfaces, such as stairs, not intended for conventional e-bike use; damage from external factors such as salt air or saltwater, bird droppings, or chemicals.
Commercial applications, such as transporting cargo, delivering newspapers, and rentals.
Temporary decrease in power or distance that can be traveled on a single battery charge, due to operating conditions such as ambient temperatures, load, inclines, frequent starting and stopping, and normal system-protection functions, as well as temperature-related performance of the battery charger.
Normal deterioration, including the gradual decrease of battery capacity over the warranty period as long as the battery capacity is still 50% or more of the initial capacity before the warranty expiration and the total number of battery charging cycles is 200 or less. Other normal deterioration includes natural fading of painted or plated surfaces, and cosmetic ozone or weather cracking in tires.
Any non-warranty work done concurrently with a warranty repair/replacement will be subject to ordinary parts/labor fees.
The following are circumstances that will void this warranty:
Products that have been lent, leased, or rented commercially.
Damage incurred due to the use of a third-party battery charger.
Loss or damage incurred due to the Customer choosing their own shipping option or if the bike is shipped using a freight forwarder or similar service.
Products that have been altered without the approval of Coastal Cruiser.
Products with alterations or additions of non-original or Incompatible Parts.
Damage to or failure of Products resulting from weather or excessive wear and tear.
Theft, robbery, vandalism, incidental, consequential, or intentional damage, as well as damage resulting from Customer’s abuse or neglect of the Product.
Products that have been used or transported improperly (e.g., exceeding maximum weight recommendation).
Products with damage resulting from improper maintenance (e.g., storing battery fully discharged over the winter).
Products with an electrical component that has been opened, altered, partially or completely disassembled, except by Coastal Cruiseror their authorized service providers.
Products that have been disassembled in a manner not authorized by Coastal Cruiseror that have had repairs attempted by anyone not authorized by Coastal Cruiser.
Products that have been damaged due to improper adjustment or maintenance.
NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY CONTAINED HEREIN, THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF ANY NATURE. Coastal Cruiser MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES RELATED TO THE PRODUCTS. ALL WARRANTIES IMPLIED UNDER ANY APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED. ALL WARRANTIES, WRITTEN, ORAL, OR IMPLIED, ARE EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO THE PERIOD AND TERM OF THIS WARRANTY. THE LAWS OF SOME REGIONS REQUIRE DIFFERENT OR LONGER TERMS FOR WARRANTIES, OR PROHIBIT CERTAIN DISCLAIMERS OR LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTIES. THIS WARRANTY PROVIDES THE CUSTOMER WITH SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, WHICH MAY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE, COUNTRY TO COUNTRY, OR REGION TO REGION.
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that Products are properly operated, maintained and stored as specified in the Owner’s Manual. The Customer must notify Coastal Cruiser of any and all apparent defects to the Products within 7 days of discovery. In submitting a warranty claim, the Customer must provide specifics of any and all apparent defects, including photos and supporting evidence, as requested. Failure to provide information or other details as requested may result in a warranty claim being denied.
Coastal Cruiser is not responsible for providing a box or packing materials for shipping if any parts need to be returned to Coastal Cruiser as part of the Warranty Claims Process. Coastal Cruiser is not liable for any loss resulting from the transport of Products to Coastal Cruiser under a warranty claim. Therefore, it is highly recommended that the Customer obtain insurance to cover the replacement cost when shipping Products back to Coastal Cruiser.
If it is suspected that any Product is defective, do not attempt to repair or replace it yourself or to have it repaired or replaced before contacting Coastal Cruiser directly — doing so may invalidate the warranty and may cause additional damage, not necessarily limited to the Products at issue. Furthermore, such action may create the risk of injury or death.
Proof of purchase is required before a warranty claim is processed. Therefore, customers are strongly encouraged to promptly register newly purchased Products. Customers can click here to register your bike.
SUBMITTING A CLAIM
Upon receiving a properly submitted warranty claim, Coastal Cruiser will examine the claimed defect, and at its sole discretion, Coastal Cruiser will either repair or replace any Products that it determines to be defective. The Warranty Claim Process is as follows:
Retain the original packaging that the bike was shipped in, even if it has been damaged in shipping. Coastal Cruiseris not responsible for providing a box for return shipping.
Submit a claim ticket by clicking HERE. Coastal Cruiserwill not replace any Product without first receiving photos and/or videos illustrating the purported damage or defect of said Product.
Coastal Cruiserwill contact the Customer to arrange for inspection of the damaged or defective Product, and then arrange for any warranty repairs.
All claims under this warranty must be made directly through Coastal Cruiser. Proof of purchase will be required with a warranty request. Before making a claim, it is recommended that the Customer contact the Technical Support team by submitting a support ticket as there may be a simple fix for the problem.
Customers must promptly provide all of the information requested by Coastal Cruiser including photos of any defective Products as requested.

Though this tricycle is a bit heavy for me, it did not give me a hard time peddling it, of course, with the help of the 250W motor. My balance is horrible, and I'm not very good at riding a two-wheeled bike, but this electric tricycle gives me comfort and confidence. I don't mind riding and traveling using this tricycle, even on a long-distance ride.
I have health issues and my balance is not good. This tricycle has a low frame to step over. Gears help traversing sidewalks, hills and helping reduce my effort when I am tired. The hand brakes are much more efficient than pedal breaks. Very comfortable ride with no back pain. I have more confidence and my balance is improving!
I was really nervous to get this tricycle because I thought it would be heavy, and although it is, it's not nearly as heavy as I thought it would be. I have so much fun riding this, and I always get compliments from the neighbors.
I didn't think I would want or need an electric tricycle, but its pretty rad now that I have it. can't wait for the weather to warm up a bit more so I can take it out more often
The battery is so easy to remove for recharging, the hardest part is remembering to take it off after my ride! My brother assembled this tricycle for me and he said it wasn't super difficult. It took him about 2 hours. Highly recommend
Unique, comfortable and quite appealing.
Have had my bike long enough to hunt off if it twice. Even on days I don’t hear a gobble, I return to my truck with a smile on my face. Really like the bike. Can go places on it that I could never power through on my mountain bike and don’t have rubbery legs and sweat soaked clothes when set up.
The power for hill climbing the rough terrain in north central MA is incredible. haven't had a hill I couldn't climb, the only issue was the fear of coming back down! The bike handles like a dream! Back in the day i rode mountain bikes 2-3 K miles a season and was very impressed with how this bike handles even being more than twice the weight of a lightweight MB. I switched back to low power to conserve. Battery life and still have plenty of power. Ride it like a bike and pedal, its a lot of fun without the extreme effort.
I recently bought the Mule step through for my wife. This represents a second purchase since three months earlier I purchased a Mule for myself. We have taken several trips with them on wood trails and secondary dirt roads. The bikes are fantastic! The technology is great and the durability is over the top. As we get more accustomed to their performance our satisfaction continues to grow as we experience the bikes capability under different ride conditions.
Easy to assemble. Added all my equipment from my old mountain bike, which was mounted on the handlebars, to the Step Through Mule with plenty of room due the wider handlebars. First couple of trips resulted in adjusting the correct tire pressure for my type of off road conditions. Pulls my cart, tree stand and pack with out difficulty. The power in this bike is amazing, and the petal assist makes easy traveling in sand and grass as if you are on pavement. This has opened a new world for me. Also, as I am a religious wear of Kuiu the bike matches by hunting clothes. Lastly, so happy I order the 24" Step Through as it makes getting on and off so much easier than my 26" mountain bike.
This is an excellent bike and it has the power to get up all the steep mountain roads in my area. I ride it about 18 miles a day for exercise and also ride it for fun with friends. This mid drive has so much more hill climbing power than my other three 750 watt rear hub drive ebikes. The difference between a corvette and a vw bug. Both will get you there, but the Mule does so in comfort. I only had to change out the seat for my personal comfort. I am 70 years old and the Mule ebike makes me feel like I am in my thirties all over again. Some may call it cheating, but I am still getting a workout but can go three times as far as I used to ride using my high end manual mountain bike. Best purchase I have made in years!
I bought a mule during the fall and rode it at our 200 acre farm. My wife took it for a spin just once and decided she wanted one for herself. We are going to use them for hunting season in PA. Currently she rides on the DL trails while I ride my gravel bike. She has found a new love for biking. ( her knees are shot so the e-Bike opens up a whole new world). Plus we now ride together again. The larger battery is a must for over 25 mile rides. Great fun! Love mine too! Service is superior!
Well it’s Awesome to see an All Terrain Rock Hopper Type E-Bike for us Portly Ground Pounders! To see a Neon Flash (or in this case DEER) roll by on the Mountainous Trails whipping thru those woods while taking the trails with ease will be jaw dropping and awe inspiring. I hope someday this will be mine, yet for now I can only watch, scheme and dream about the possibilities of riding that DEER into Glory!
I work door dash in San Francisco. It goes up any hill and there's some steep ones here. It didn't go up the worse ones but it went straight up Powell street were trolly go and that's pretty steep. Most ebikes can't do it. I was screaming I love this bike out loud. Thanx making my job way easier
